Download at least five sample videos on pronunciation, e.g. the sound /th/ or the sound /t/ or any model video for words/phrase pronunciation. Save them on a flash drive or cd. Be able to show and discuss the model video in class. Appoint a leader/reporter.
Showing and discussion will be on June 23, 2010.
Deadline: June 23, 2010. Bring the cd or flash drive (containing the downloaded videos) in class.

Blogging Exercise No. 2:
Make your own version of movie poster based on the story "Dead Stars" by Paz Marquez Benitez. You may wear costumes, make-up for the photo-shoot. Edit your poster using the Photoshop program. Include the following details in the poster:
1. Name of the actors,actress,director, and other cast.
2. Name of the production (like Star Cinema, GMA Films, New Line Cinema,etc)
3. Date and place of showing.
4. A teasing line or phrase or sentence to capture's reader's attention and interest.
Above are sample posters of my previous lit students.
Deadline for posting is on or before 9pm, June 22, 2010.

Read the following:
1. The Early Period --1900 to 1930, pp. 4-7
2. The Middle Period --1930 to 1960, pp. 67-71
